The Michelin Guide's review
Glasgow Botanic Gardens boast almost 20ha of lawns, flowerbeds and glasshouses. Kibble Palace is a unique example of a Victorian glasshouse with a metallic framework. It houses tree ferns from the hot and humid regions of the southern hemisphere, as well as orchids, begonias, flowers from Temperate Asia, such as rhododendrons and jasmines and insectivore plants. Main Range, another Victorian greenhouse, has both tropical and endemic plants.
