Any tourist visiting Glasgow cannot escape the "Mackintosh phenomenon". His superb buildings contributed to establish Glasgow firmly on the map of Europe's Art Nouveau cities. The Charles Rennie Mackintosh Society organises a guided tour, which includes the Lighthouse, the Willow Tea Rooms and the Glasgow School of Art, all in the city centre.
