The Michelin Guide's review
Famous for the concerts of its carillon (erected in 1925), St Janskathedraal is one of the finest religious buildings in the Netherlands. It was consecrated to the Protestant faith from 1629 until 1810, when Napoleon visited and turned it over to the Catholic faith. Built over the period 1380 to 1530 in the Gothic Brabant style, it still has its 13C bell-porch.
