The Michelin Guide's review
Rising to 1 725m, Mount Babia Gora is the highest point of the West Beskids, known here as the Beskides Zywiecki. A Unesco World biosphere reserve, this frontier region bordering Slovakia has a proud heritage and traditions which draw Krakow's inhabitants for weekend visits and holidays here. Sucha Beskidzka and most notably Zawoja are good bases from which to begin exploring off the beaten track.
