The Michelin Guide's review
Overlooking Frame Lake, the Prince of Wales Northern Heritage Centre is an important archaeological and ethnological research centre. It houses displays on the history of settlement of the Northwest Territories and sheds light on the traditional way of life of the Dené and Inuit peoples, including a fine collection of Inuit sculpture. One room is devoted to bush pilot operations, and there is a small display offering a closer look at gold and diamond mining.
