Description
Created in 1861, nowadays it still belongs to the association of public utility artists of the same name. Built along the lines of a small Italian Renaissance palace, the period building of Ringstrasse was significantly extended in 1882, then adapted time and again from 1945 onwards to become an exhibition venue. Of particular note are the architecture, the theme-based interdisciplinary exhibitions, its international collaborations and its members' shows.
