Haas-Haus
The Green Guide
The Michelin Guide's review
It is fair to say that the bold, blue-grey marble and glass architecture of the Haas-Haus, designed by architect Hans Hollein, stands out in this old quarter. When it opened in 1990, it caused quite a stir. Nowadays, this building in which the cathedral is reflected has become a more familiar site in Vienna. Its curved lines open up the perspective on to St Stephen's Square.
