The Michelin Guide's review
The Looshaus (1911) was built by Adolf Loos for the firm Goldman & Salatsch. The building, which was listed in 1947, and whose façade was left deliberately bare, had a considerable impact. Located opposite the Hofburg, it encapsulated all that separated the architecture of the Old Town from new trends. The building is home to a bank and a museum dedicated to architecture.
