The Michelin Guide's review
This late-18C house bears the name of its owner, Benedikt, Baron Pasqualati, and is home to one of the three Viennese museums devoted to Beethoven. In 1804 and from 1813-1815, the composer lived in two rooms on the fourth floor, where he composed his opera Fidelio and several Symphonies, including the fourth, fifth and seventh. The museum exhibits various objects and artefacts relating to the composer of the immortal Ninth Symphony.
