Nossa Senhora da Agonia is a charming Baroque chapel known for the great pilgrimage that takes place there in August. This event is one of the most famous festivals in Minho and attracts a considerable crowd. The procession, bull run, fireworks over the Lima River, parades of giants and dwarves, and a festival of regional dances and songs are held here.
