The Michelin Guide's Opinion
This district owes its name to the church of Notre-Dame (17C), the former parish church of the king and his court. It is centred on Rue de la Paroisse and the Place du Marché, made up of four right-angled buildings, named after the squares (Farine, Herbes, Marée and Viande). Behind the market, the lively brasseries are popular in the evenings with young locals. Don't miss the 18C Musée Lambinet.
