San Pantalon's interior is famous for its ceiling, covered by the world's largest painting on canvas: these 60 panels created by Giovanni Antonio Fumiani between 1684 and 1704 illustrate the life of Pantaleon, a physician from Nicomedia who was an early Christian martyr. In the side chapels, note the works by Veronese and Palma the Younger.
