Vaudreuil-Soulanges Regional Museum
The Green Guide
The Michelin Guide's review
Devoted to enhancing local heritage, this museum is located in a restored stone schoolhouse (1859), where Abbot Lionel Groulx (1878-1967), the great French-Canadian historian, studied. Typical of religious architecture of the period, it features a windowed mansard roof topped by a small lantern. The collections include objects used during the seigneurial regime. Also visible are ethno-historic and visual arts displays.
