The Michelin Guide's review
The Palacio de la Generalidad was until 1707 the seat of the members of Parliament responsible for taxation. Built around an elegant patio, this Gothic palace dates from the 15C, except for the towers. One of the finest rooms is the Gold Drawing Room, with its multi-coloured artesonado marquetry ceiling. But many other things are worth a visit, including the oratory, with a 16C altarpiece by Juan Sariñena and the Great Hall of the Corts.
