Vernon Crookes Nature Reserve, created in 1973, covers about 2 000ha of coastal forests and meadowlands. It is inhabited by 50 species of mammals including zebras, gnus, oribi antelopes, impalas and monkeys. The animals are easily visible from your vehicle while driving on the roads.
