The Michelin Guide's review
After three centuries of good and loyal service to poor patients, the Hôtel-Dieu ceased activity in 1982. The old wards have been restored and reflect hospital life from the 17C on. The lines of traditional oak box-beds are still in place. There is also an extremely fine original apothecary's room with 300 Nevers earthenware pots. The Museum in homage to Greuze, a local painter, is housed in part of this building.
