The Michelin Guide's review
Built in the late 15C by Cardinal della Rovere, the Duomo boasts three delicately sculpted doorways and a bell tower crowned by a work by Juvarra. Inside the building, behind the high altar, is the chapel built in the 17C to house the Holy Shroud (entrance included in the ticket to the Musei Reali). The Shroud can be seen in a long glass reliquary covered with a cloth (left aisle). For more information on the Shroud, visit the Museo della Sindone.
