Obere Hauptgasse is the major street in the old town. It is a very busy place and the flower-decked terraces of the houses are also its pavement, so visitors walk on the roof of shops housed in the ground floor arcades. Further on, Rathausplatz is surrounded by houses with arcades and decorated with a flower-decked fountain and dominated by the castle.
