The Michelin Guide's review
From the outside, you would not think that this 18C church by András Mayerhoffer (a Hungarian architect of Austrian origin) was a Serbian Orthodox Church. You have to go inside, through the doorway on the small street called Görög utca, to realise this. Your eyes will immediately be drawn to the Rococo iconostasis with its painted panels of saints. The tall carved-wood seats have particularly high arms; this meant that worshippers could lean on them while standing during services.
