The Michelin Guide's review
Built in stages on the site of an older church destroyed by fire, the oldest parts of this church (the nave and the lower part of the tower) date back to the first half of the 15C. The nave with its round pillars supporting broken arches still has the original oak timberwork roof. The chevet can be seen from St John Street, with its tiered buttress supports, typical of Scottish gothic style.
