The Michelin Guide's review
The former abbey of the Premonstratensians, founded in the 12C, still boasts its remarkable abbey church, modified in the 18C. Only the exterior has preserved the chunky aspect characteristic of Romanesque buildings. The porch and vault of the cloisters, altered in the 15C, are Gothic in style. Furnishings in both the Baroque and Rococo styles lend the interior a theatrical quality, as if symbolizing the triumph of decoration over architecture.
