The Michelin Guide's review
This 11C Benedictine convent, oozing with medieval charm, is now a museum. The collections (history, popular arts) are displayed in rooms adorned with sculpted ceilings, wainscoting, inlaid furniture and the occasional 16C grisaille. You can also visit the monks' cells, the bailiff's hall, the cloister and the chapter room. The 12C Romanesque church sports distinctive gargoyles in the shape of dragons, the town's emblem.
