The Michelin Guide's review
Created in 1806 by Napoleon I to accommodate a group of stallions, Saint Lô stud farm comprises brick and stone buildings. After the reform of the national stud farms, the site came to house a horse breeding centre (taking on the task of the national stud farm), the Centre for the Promotion of Breeding and a riding centre. Temporary exhibitions are shown in some of the stables. Equestrian events and shows.
