Description
Located within parkland boasting some delightful gardens, this half-timbered Tudor manor house (1530 and 1598) is the former residence of the Norris family. Its oldest section is the Great Hall, the wainscoting of which, in particular the large wood panelling from 1564, are particularly fine. Its many small rooms demonstrate the Victorian preference for intimacy and comfort.
