The Michelin Guide's review
The Khleang pagoda (or "Golden Pagoda") is, in reality, a vast concrete complex built in 1905 on the site of the original bamboo structure dating from 1533. Nestled in a landscape of palm trees, this highly colourful temple is characteristic of Khmer art, with its tiled roofs with raised sides in the shape of a bird. The gilded doors bear a resemblance to the Balinese style.
