The Michelin Guide's review
A majestic mountain that is like the "dragon's tail" of the mountain range that crosses the peninsula, Bukhansan is the source of the telluric energy that nourishes the capital... The national park, which occupies 80km2 on the outskirts of Seoul, is a mecca for hikers. Most of the countless paths lead towards the highest peak, Baeg-Undae, which culminates at 836m. Bukkhansan is also dotted with age-old Buddhist temples, and houses a large fortress, Bukhansanseong.
