The Michelin Guide's review
Mirobriga was probably a relatively important urban centre from the 1C to the 4C as evidenced by the ruins spread round a pleasant rural countryside planted with cypresses. A Roman road leads to the baths located below. Going back up you will pass near to the inn and reach the forum where the administrative and religious buildings were found. Excavations have revealed that this area was already occupied in the Iron Age (4C BC) by a temple.
