The Michelin Guide's review
The only round capitol building in the US was built in 1966 in the shape of a Pueblo zia, or Circle of Life. It symbolizes the four directions, four winds, four seasons and four sacred obligations. Some 6.5 acres of gardens surround the building. Within, operated by the Museum of New Mexico, is the Governor's Gallery, a fine contemporary art collection that dominates the spacious lobby, hallways to the Senate and House galleries, and upper floors.
