The Michelin Guide's review
Established within the chapter of Salles-Arbuissonnas-en-Beaujolais, the museum chronicles the history of the priory, before exploring its remains. All that remains of the Romanesque cloister is a graceful, colonnaded gallery opening onto a 15C chapter room, whose vaulted ceiling is upheld by a central pillar. The elegant ribbing is adorned with symbols of the four evangelists and frescoes, sadly in poor condition. The ribbed vault of the Parlour bears a coat of arms.
