The Michelin Guide's review
Atop the Rhône cornice, outside the village of Plats, is a chapel flanked by two viewing tables that each command a grandiose panoramic view extending over no less than 13 départements! To the east, the eye is drawn to the Vercors, with, beyond, the summits of the Alps and Mont Blanc. To the north, along the axis of the Rhône, rises Mount Pilat, with Mount Ventoux looming to the south. Finally, to the west, lie the plateaux and greenhouses of the Vivarais, overlooked by the Mézenc peak.
