Ximenez-Fatio House
The Green Guide
The Michelin Guide's review
This two-story coquina residence operated as a boardinghouse for most of the 19C. The structure was built in 1798 by Spanish merchant Andrés Ximenez as his residence and general store. Under a later owner, the establishment thrived as St. Augustine's most popular inn. Today the house is restored to reflect the period between 1830 and 1850; individual rooms are furnished as if to accommodate 19C boarders.
