The Michelin Guide's review
An elegant avenue, where a double row of lime trees was planted in the 17C, Boompjes is today a modern thoroughfare lined with numerous cafés and restaurants, apartment buildings and offices. Three towers (Boompjestorens), designed by H. Klunder, dominate the area. At night the red, yellow and blue columns of light with which they are illuminated reflect in the waters of the Leuvehaven. Willemswerf, a white building 92m high, was designed by local architect Wim Quist.
