The Michelin Guide's Opinion
An attractive doorway in the Tuscan style with a stone counter from which customers were served... inside awaits a superb collection of pharmacy jars (238 of them!) dating from 1580 (all from all the workshop of Patanazzi, a ceramicist from Urbino) which were ordered by a spice merchant from Messina. Brought back by a local clergyman, the collection arrived in Roccavaldina in 1628 and has ever since been the pride of the town. There are some truly remarkable pieces here!
