The Wallpaper Museum, housed in the former factory founded by Jean Zuber in 1797 that earned his family international renown, displays an amazing collection of so-called panoramic wallpapers, which depict immense landscapes designed to cover entire walls. Their vivid colours mingled idealised views of Switzerland, Algeria and Bengal. Machines on the site explain their manufacture. They remain greatly sought after and are exported all over the world.
