The Michelin Guide's review
Sheltered from the hubbub of the coast, Antoni Gaudí's birthplace is home to countless Modernist buildings, some of which were the work of Lluís Domènech i Montaner. In the town centre is the Casa Navàs (1901), which is reminiscent of Venetian Gothic palaces. Note also the Casa Rull and its façade embellished with winged lions, and the Casa Gasull, recognisable by the mosaics in the window bays and sgraffiti. There is a marked tour.
