The Michelin Guide's review
The museum, located in an old Royal Abbey, has an attractive collection of 17 and 18C buildings that have preserved some medieval parts. The museum has collections of Reims art, from its origins to the late Middle Ages. The Gallo-Roman history of the town is relived there with the entombment of Jovin, a magnificent Roman sarcophagus. You can also see the history of the Abbey, regional archaeology and remains of long vanished Reims monuments. The visit ends with a section on military history.
