The Michelin Guide's review
On the outskirts of Râmnicu Vâlcea, this open-air museum is the setting for large, sturdy white houses with wooden tiled roofs, a cula (fortified house) built in 1802 and a han (inn) from 1899. It is a striking contrast to the concrete buildings in the centre of this industrial city.
