The Michelin Guide's review
The Odet River meanders its way through the high wooded cliffs. Further south, the bend in the river is so sharp that a Spanish fleet coming up the Odet at the start of the 17C didn't dare risk navigating it. On the right bank before Le Perennou, downstream from the so-called Fontaine des Espagnols where the fleet took on water, you will see the ruins of the Roman baths. At the end of the Vire-Court, two rocks form the Saut de la Pucelle. Legend has it that a young girl, pursued by a brigand, threw herself into the Odet so as not to lose her honour.
