The Michelin Guide's review
Created on the tricentennial of the founding of the city, Battlefields Park commemorates the battles fought between the British and French armies during the Conquest. Some 150 species of plants thrive in the Joan of Arc Garden and the Martello towers bear witness to the defence line built by the British. The elusive beauty of this steep site overlooking the St Lawrence provides the opportunity for an outing that is both recreational and rich in historical significance.
