Henry-Stuart House
Michelin Guide
The Michelin Guide's review
Surrounded by a small park, the façade of this 1849 cottage is graced with large French windows. The overhanging roof covers the lateral galleries. At no. 95 stands the Ladies' Protestant Home, an elegant example of the Italian Renaissance Revival style exemplified here by the massive cornice and lantern. Krieghoff House (no. 155), named for the painter Cornelius Krieghoff (1815-72) who lived here intermittently in 1859 and 1860, embodies Quebec vernacular architecture.
