The Michelin Guide's review
East of the Castle, the Letna's lawns stretch out to the Vtava in this area reserved for the «socialist» buildings. Triumphant socialism has its statue of Stalin to compete with St Guy's and the Zizkov Memorial. Inaugurated in 1955, the 7,000m3 of granite were dynamited in 1962. The concrete alleys still remain, for the exclusive use of skateboarders!
