The Michelin Guide's review
Above the south porch of this old seigniorial chapel is an archive room, which was used as a courtroom in the 16C. Frescoes (c 1500) decorate the walls above the arcades. Those depicting the macabre dance look like they might have inspired Camille Saint-Saëns. Also look out for the five alabaster low reliefs in the chancel. In the transept a further scene shows her breastfeeding, and the baby Jesus refusing! A Day of Atonement takes place here every third Sunday in September.
