The Michelin Guide's review
Pisac market, liveliest in the late morning just after mass, is a treasure trove of surprises. From the profusion of fruit grown in the upper Andean valleys to an amazing variety of corn and potatoes found nowhere else, the wealth of local farm produce cannot fail but set your taste buds tingling! There is no lack of choice on the souvenir side either, from ponchos, multicoloured fabrics and felt hats, each of which is more beautiful than the other.
