Cathedral (Cattedrale)
Green Guide
The Michelin Guide's Opinion
Patti was built to the level of a Bishop's palace by King Roger in 1131, then to the level of a Royal city in 1312 by Frederick III of Aragon, and it finally received the tile of "Magnanimous" from Charles V. Around the medieval streets and alleys you will find an 18C cathedral, which has an attractive 15C doorway decorated with strange people. In the right transept is a sarcophagus of Queen Adelasia, the wife of Roger I.
