The lakes, waterfalls, ponds, lawns and woods of the Bois de Boulogne have helped preserve its yesteryear charm. The woods, although traversed by a few roads, continue to appeal to joggers, rowers, anglers, cyclists and, of course, children, who adore the Jardin d'Acclimatation amusement park, without forgetting riders thanks to shaded riding paths and Sunday strollers out to enjoy this mainly car free zone.
