Located in the basin into which the Canal Saint-Martin flows past the Bastille. It is the old moat of the Charles V fort. Surrounded by terraced gardens, the marina, the second largest of Paris (after La Villette marina), makes for a pleasant walk. Continue on to the Seine embankment along the newly laid-out Rives de Seine promenade.
