The Michelin Guide's review
The church of Saint-Étienne-du-Mont is known for its superb rood screen, its organs and Saint Geneviève, who is venerated here. The original façade, comprising three superimposed pediments, is emphasised by the upward sweep of the belfry. Inside the church, note the pulpit, dating from 1650; the stained-glass window of the Parable of the Wedding Feast (1586); the 17C Entombment; and the epitaphs of Racine and Pascal. The "Charnel" cloister off the ambulatory boasts fine 17C stained glass.
