The Michelin Guide's review
The current building, with its oval structure, was built at the end of the 17C. Its interior decoration in polychromed stucco and marble is a magnificent Baroque creation, attributed to the architect, Paolo Amato. Looking upwards, you should be able to make out fragments of a huge fresco representing The Glory of Saint Basil. Climb up to the dome for a superb view of the city's rooftops.
