The Seagram Building is, along with the United Nations Headquarters and the MoMA building, one of the archetypes of the so-called International style. Depicted by crisp, clean lines, a rectangular plan and glazed walls, this style emerged after WWII as a reaction to the exuberance of the Gothic and Art Deco styles.
