Roman Catholic Parish Church of New Ross
The Green Guide
The Michelin Guide's review
The high ceiling and Corinthian columns that distinguish this building were inspired by St Mary's Church (adjacent). The frieze and cornice over the altar are the work of Bannow craftsmen. Construction began in 1832 but was interrupted by the cholera epidemic that year which killed 3 000 people in New Ross.
